What Stood Out in Today's Bible Reading
2023 3:1 – I am the man that hath seen affliction by the rod of his wrath. [cf. v. 19 – Remembering mine affliction and my misery, the wormwood and the gall. Ps. 119:75 – I know, O LORD, that thy judgments are right, and that thou in faithfulness hast afflicted me. Is. 30:20-21 – And though the Lord give you the bread of adversity, and the water of affliction, yet shall not thy teachers be removed into a corner any more, but thine eyes shall see thy teachers: And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.
