II Sam. 22:3 – The God of my rock; in him will I trust: he is my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my saviour; thou savest me from violence. Ps. 16:1 – Preserve me, O God: for in thee do I put my trust. Ps. 118:8 – It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.
